one deck · eight brands
Every tile below is the same file — specimen.deck.md,
the same words in the same order — compiled by the engine at HEAD
into a different kit. Nothing here is a screenshot: each one is the real
compiled deck in a frame, so what you are comparing is what the compiler
actually produces. The words never move; everything that does comes from
the kit.
Install any of them and your next build comes out in
it. The commands assume lutrin on your PATH —
npx lutrin … does the same thing. Each tile is the fourth
slide of the deck, the one where the whole palette is on screen at once;
click it for the other three.

The Made with Lutrin at the bottom right of every slide is not part of any kit: it is what an unlicensed build produces, and these were compiled by CI, which holds no licence. It is also the only thing a licence removes.
what you just installed
Installing a kit checks no licence, and building with one costs nothing. Kits are not the paid part of Lutrin — the only thing a licence changes is the attribution line.
A .deckkit carries a manifest, design tokens, and
optionally layouts, fonts and logos. kit install refuses
any executable entry, which is what makes installing one from a URL
defensible.
They vary colour, type and geometry, because that is the axis you can compare eight of at a glance. A kit can also ship layouts of its own — kit-slate does.
None of these eight is a real organisation. They are archetypes — a newsroom, a university, a supplier — invented so the page can show you a brand without borrowing anyone's. Yours is the one worth building: the kit editor puts every colour, font and layout beside a deck the engine just compiled, and contact@lutrin.app is where the conversation starts if you would rather hand over the brand guidelines and get the kit back.
